Stepping Beyond Drunkard’s Path

Drunkard’s Path never looked so good so easily as it does when you make it using a Phillips Fiber Art's amazing Cut A Round tool. You’ll begin by learning to inset circles, followed by learning to inset circles that can be cut into four Drunkard’s Path blocks. Then you’ll learn more and more ways to create Drunkard’s Path blocks with rings, with apple core-shaped centers, with varying sized quarter circles, and more. In total, you’ll learn to make eight styles of Drunkard’s Path blocks.

You’ll become an expert in using the Cut A Round tool to add circles and curves to your quilts be they Drunkard’s Path, other traditional blocks, or your own creations as you create a stunning quilt loaded with curves. You can organize your quilt exactly like the class sample, “Trail Mix Remix,” based on a design by Karla Schulz, or you can create your own layout. You’ll learn how to make a diagonally set backing that will wow those who see it. Little will they know the design was created to make the most economical use backing fabric.
