Where Every Thread Tells a Story.

Twisted Stitches is where creativity becomes connection.  Here, we do more than join fabric and thread—we create connection. It’s makers supporting makers, sharing skills, learning something new, and building confidence one stitch at a time. What begins as fabric becomes something more: beauty, friendship, and a sense of belonging.

Rooted in Creativity,
Built for Community

Twisted Stitches began with a simple idea: there had to be a better space for makers.

After years of attending retreats and classes, I saw what worked—and what didn’t. I started imagining a place designed specifically for quilters and fiber artists, where everything was set up the way it should be: comfortable, well-lit, thoughtfully equipped, and welcoming.

That idea grew over time into something bigger. Today, Twisted Stitches is more than a studio—it’s a community. A place where makers come together to create, learn new skills, support one another, and build meaningful connections.

What started as a vision has become a space where creativity and community come together every day.

Everything we do is designed with intention -- to remove barriers, to make creating easier, and to give you the space to simply show up and do what you love.

Cindy Fox

Cindy Fox

Owner & Maker

Cindy's mom was a gifted garment sewist who tried valiantly to pass that on to her, but Cindy was uninterested, to say the least! But when she was in her early 50's...something clicked and Cindy decided to try her hand at quilting. The rest, well, is history. She was bitten by the quilting bug and never looked back! Cindy often wonders what her mom would say now, after her refusal to sew when she was young!
Cindy's longarm experience is extensive.  Having personally owned 4 different Handi Quilter longarms since she began longarming in 2015, she also spent several years longarming for her varied and talented customers!
Cindy is also well connected to the quilting community, having served for 4 years as VP and President of Quaking Aspen Quilt Guild in Boulder CO.  It was an honor and a privilege to work with and represent these talented and creative makers!

In addition to her administrative and artistic background, Kim brings her extremely varied set of skills including, but not limited to, herding cats, remaining calm in stressful situations, climbing ladders, running errands and offering sage advice to support Cindy, Jill, and Twisted Stitches.

Jill Perry

Jill Perry

Longarm and Quilting Educator

Jill has been sewing for many years beginning in junior high school. In the early 90’s, she taught serger classes and created clothes for her children including wild pants for her son, leotards and dance costumes for her daughter, and swimwear for all. Jill then started her tech geek era learning websites, graphic design and online learning technology. Then, back to sewing and creating quilts and beginning her longarm education.  Many of you know Jill as she managed the quilt store in Erie for eight years. Jill has longarmed for over 11 years and has loved learning the computerized quilting to finish up her quilt tops. Today, Jill enjoys teaching others to longarm, create quilts, and make bags. The community at Twisted Stitches is the best.
