What sewing support do you offer? expand_more
We've thought of the details so you can focus on making. The studio features powered work tables (30"x60"), multiple cutting and ironing stations, ergonomic adjustable chairs, great lighting, and design walls -- giving you the space and support to spread out, stay organized, and enjoy the process.
Do I need to bring my own sewing machine? expand_more
Yes, or we have a limited number of sewing machines available for rental in-studio. Please reserve in advance.
Can I leave my machine and projects overnight for multiple day events? expand_more
Absolutely! Many of our guests leave their machines set up during multi-day events so they can settle in and enjoy their time. The studio is locked and secured when closed. That said, we recommend ensuring your personal equipment is covered under your own insurance, as Twisted Stitches is not able to insure individual machines or belongings.
Do you have a kitchenette available? expand_more
Yes! We have a coffee maker, microwave, air fryer, full-size refrigerator, freezer and a filtered hot and cold water dispenser available for our guests.
What lodging options do you have? expand_more
We have two hotels within 5 minutes of the studio that offer Twisted Stitches guests 15% off of their room rates. One is Residence Inn (pets are welcome there), and the other is Courtyard by Marriott. We will provide a registration link upon request for you to access the discounted rates.
Are there restaurants nearby? expand_more
We have multiple restaurants within a mile of the studio, and several within walking distance.
What is your cancellation policy for classes? expand_more
Due to limited class sizes, cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to the class to receive a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days of the scheduled class are non-refundable; however, the amount paid may be applied to a future class.
What is your cancellation policy for retreats or events? expand_more
Retreats sponsored by Twisted Stitches have the following cancellation policy. Please note that private retreats or those organized by outside instructors may have different cancellation policies.
Cancellations made two weeks or more in advance will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made one week to 13 days in advance will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations made 6 days or less before the retreat are non-refundable.
What is your cancellation policy for studio space? expand_more
Maker Space reservations are non-refundable, but we're happy to help you reschedule. With advance notice, your payment can be applied to a future session based on availability.
What is your cancellation policy for longarm rentals? expand_more
Your longarm rental time is reserved just for you. Due to high demand and limited availability, we're often unable to fill last-minute openings. For this reason, cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will forfeit their rental fee. With more than 24 hours notice, we're happy to help you reschedule based on availability.
Do you offer longarm machine financing? expand_more
Yes! We partner with Red Thread Studios for excellent financing terms for qualified buyers.
Can I test-drive a longarm before purchasing? expand_more
Absolutely! We encourage "test drives" for all of our models. Please schedule a private appointment so we can have the machines ready for you to explore under our expert guidance!
